Where do you buy your servers?

I'm just curious where everyone buys there servers. When I say buy, I am referring to actually purchasing your servers that you own. Also, is there any particular reason why you buy it and what would it take for you to concider a different manufacturer?

i don't own one, I just use shared hosting, from www.godaddy.com.

Alot of people do have servers in their house, more advanced users of course lol. Alot of home servers are just older computers with some sort of Server OS on them.

Of course, alot of people, such as Recon, do just use shared hosting for the simple use of hosting websites, or forums.

I run an Active Directory server in my house, which does host websites, and currently configuring so that I can host a forum off it, although my upload speed isant that fast, which is something that needs to be resolved.
