Hi,

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right forum, but I need advice on building a hardware platform for a Linux-based (Redhat or CENTOS) mail server. Specifically, I need advice on choice of appropriate motherboard, etc, at a reasonable price. I expect there to be over 500 users with over 2000+ mails flowing through the system daily.

One board I've come across is the DK8S2-SATA from IWILL. Any thoughts on this particular choice ?

Also any other advice/suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks !

Linux mail will run well on 64bit AMD solution.

Arima, MSI or SuperMicro are some good names in the Biz.
try this link to our web site, we can't sell direct, but you can contact me to get more hardware spec..

Always find more RAM and more disk space is the way to go with mail servers.
