I run a small web site and am having a problem with mail forwarding. Mail sent to the web site server is forwarded to another address which, unfortunately, is a highly security conscious public organisation. Forwarded mail is rejected by the receiving server.
It appears to be a reverse DNS issue but the server host has been unable to resolve it. I notice that the rejected mail is forwarded as if from the server, i.e. the senders address is Defaultmailaccount@server.net,. Any messages sent from useraccount@domain.com get through OK. Is there any way of forwarding the mail from the user account rather than the main server?
