Hi

I uninstalled IIS as I wanted to use Apache with php and mysql. Apache was using port 80, which is the same as IIS.

Apache now works fine but I also want to start using IIS to learn ASP.

I have added port number 82 to the services list, copying all the http details used in port 80.

I have set IIS to run from port 82.

However, when I use Dreamweaver, the testing server for both Apache and IIS is httP://localhost/sitename.

The problem is, I can't get IIS to run as localhost as this is located in C://inetpub/wwwroot/ and Apache is C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs Obviously, there is a problem with the location of the localhost that dreamweaver is trying to use.

Is there a way around this without having to run Apache through IIS. It took me ages to configure Apache/PHP/MYSQL and I don't want to bugger it up.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way, I am a novicde at all this stuff so as much detail as possible would me me loads

Thanks in advance

You can run ASP on apache, you just need a download from www.microsoft.com
