Hi,

I read that you have fans installed in your servers. Is this the only "cooling system" for servers? (Do they need only that for surviving?)

Iīve seen servers inside black closed boxes. These boxes that contain the servers appear to have like an air conditioning system, controlled by a sophisticated panel. Is this necessary or just for protecting better the servers and for a better functioning?

I canīt believe that these kind of machines (servers) can be on 24/7 (is it for a life time?) and not get burned.

Thank you for your time.

Servers can get hold running and need a constant airflow. Usualy datacenters provide air conditioning so that is a bonus and you can use some fans in the box itself. You can get watercooling but I think that is over the top. Get hold of some http://www.delta.com.tw fans that move 200+ CFM!!!
