Hi,

Currently I have 2 domain names. Iīve just changed hosting. These two domains appear to have a locked status. Maybe thatīs why after I order the dns tranfer, there are no effects.

Why do domains get this status?
What can I do to fix this problem, is it of my concern or the registrars?

Domains are given this status for security, so they can't be transfered so you don't loose your domain!
You are in control of your domains status. To change it, login to your domain registar and select the option something like, change domain status, change auto renew etc. There you can remove 'registar lock' from your domains and you are able to transfer them.
Who are you domain registers?

They are a mexican website. Itīs www.arq.com.mx
Iīve already told them that my domain status is locked. They have now 3 days since they havenīt answered me.

Im sorry but they donīt have a panel. I wrote them and told them about doing it themselves.

I have this same problem using easytoregister.com. The domain status is "LOCKED", and when I attempt to login, it states "Uh oh! That password was not valid
This domain name is expired and cannot be updated".

So, what do I do?

Can I order the transfer of domain name if I have established business and trademarks. The domain name is locked but not used by the owner.

Itīs been a long time now. I waited for made a transfer to other registrar after the domain expired.

My domain is ok now, thank you for the help.
